Privacy Policy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website, why we do so, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Controller

Vinta Familienholding GmbH
Georgenstr. 20, 80799 Munich, Germany
Email: contact@vintaholding.com

The controller is the natural or legal person who decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to do so. Please direct any questions about data protection to the email address above.

2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. Details can be found in the provider’s privacy information at all-inkl.com/datenschutzinformationen.

When you open the site, the provider’s servers automatically record the data your browser transmits: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page or file requested, the referring website, and your browser type and operating system. This data is processed to deliver the website reliably and to protect it against misuse and technical faults. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of this website.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. The servers are located in Germany.

3. Contacting us by email

This website has no contact form. If you write to us at the address above, we process the data contained in your message – typically your name, your email address and the content of your enquiry – in order to deal with it. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual steps, and otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries addressed to us.

Providing this data is neither required by law nor by contract. You are under no obligation to contact us; without an email address, however, we cannot reply to you.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device, either for the duration of your visit or for longer. They can be used to make a site work, or to analyse how it is used.

This website does not use cookies. We set neither our own nor third-party cookies, and we do not use comparable technologies such as local storage or device fingerprinting. For this reason no consent banner is shown.

Should we introduce cookies that are not technically necessary at a later date, we would first obtain your consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG, and this policy would be updated accordingly. Any consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

5. No tracking or third-party content

We do not use analytics services, tracking pixels, advertising networks or social media plugins. All fonts, images and the background video on this site are delivered from our own web server, so no connection to third-party providers such as Google Fonts, YouTube or Vimeo is established and no data about your visit is transmitted to them. No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR takes place.

6. Recipients and transfers abroad

Your data is not passed on to third parties. The only recipient is our hosting provider named above, which processes data solely on our instructions as a processor. Data is not transferred to countries outside the European Union or to international organisations.

7. Retention periods

Server log files are deleted by our hosting provider after a short period, as soon as they are no longer required to ensure the secure operation of the website. Email correspondence is retained for as long as it is needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up questions; where commercial or tax law requires it, we retain it for the statutory periods of six or ten years. Beyond that, your personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose for processing it no longer applies, or as soon as you validly request its erasure.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • obtain information about the personal data we hold about you (Article 15)
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Article 16)
  • have your data erased (Article 17)
  • request the restriction of processing (Article 18)
  • receive your data in a portable format (Article 20)
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation (Article 21)
  • withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Article 7(3))

To exercise these rights, please contact us at contact@vintaholding.com. Exercising them is free of charge.

9. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.

10. TLS encryption

This website uses TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” in the address bar, to protect data transmitted between your browser and our server. Please note that data transmission over the internet – email in particular – can never be completely secure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our website or to legal requirements. The current version always applies.
